Akhil Kumar is an Indian Boxer. He won the gold medal in the Bantamweight 54 kg category at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

He has been a steady performer for the country and reached the quarter finals of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He is currently employed by the Haryana Police as a DSP.
